About the Author

Dr-Moshe-Daniel-Block-254x300

Like a Da Vinci of our times, Moshe Daniel Block (aka Dr. Moshe) is a Naturopathic doctor, Homeopath, Musician, Author, Inventor, and Hermeticist. He graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2000 and then completed the Homeopathic Master Clinician Course (HMC) in 2003. Dr. Moshe is also the author of the inspiring books The Revolution of Naturopathic Medicine (2004) and The Last Four Books of Moses on Kabbalah (2004). He is the inventor of the moe-joe cell, an alternative fuel-cell and energy healing device. He was personally diagnosed with myasthenia gravis in 1995, a potentially fatal autoimmune disease. He cured himself and has become a leader in mind-body medicine, teaching other health care practitioners in his popular course Holistic Counseling.

  • This course fits beautifully into where I’ve been wanting to go in my practice: addressing the deeper obstacles to healing that reside in the mental/emotional sphere. My patients are making connections that they’ve never made before. It's exciting to witness clients becoming empowered and making new choices about themselves and their health. Also I find that practicing in this way is very complementary to the work that most other doctors are doing, which makes for collaborative and effective patient care.

I would highly recommend this book along with the Holistic Counseling training to anyone who has a true healer's desire to restore the sick to health.

    Dr. Ron Matthias, ND
  • In combining mind-body medicine and psychology, /Holistic Counseling/ offers much-needed practical tools and perspectives for physicians and patients alike, bringing the roots of natural healing to life. With this book, Dr. Moshe would make our founders proud and will make all naturopathic physicians, other health-care practitioners and their patients filled with gratitude as they use his guidance to support getting well, healing, and curing.

    Dr. Paul Epstein, ND
  • This book will create long overdue new and amazing paradigm shifts in the world of Holistic Medicine. His gentle, direct, yet subtle questioning produces the most profound aha moments imaginable. Bravo, Dr. Moshe!

    Gayle C. Russell, Life Coach
  • This book has been an incredible adjunct to my practice and the course taught by the author. I had a huge break through moment with a patient after reviewing and implementing some of the mindfulness tips for practitioners. Moshe is truly a genius in his approach to patient care and wellness as a factor of wholeness. Buy this book and read it if you have any interest in mental health- you will not be sorry!!

    Dr. Shanna Bayrd, ND
  • This book cuts through all the noise and helps get to the root cause of a personal limitation or a challenge. Leveraging a clear, repeatable methodology, one can go down the funnel and unearth and resolve what is at the source of a world view or mindset, and clear the way to a healthier outlook. Oh, and I am not a practitioner; just one who is curious about how to learn, grow and improve. I recommend this book for the professional as well as for the layman. Enjoy!

  • This book is a must for my practice book collection. Holistic Counseling
has been a true blessing for my patients and for me as a Naturopathic
Physician. Thank you Dr. Moshe for your hard work and dedication to
    your craft.

    Dr. Sandra Jones, ND, LAc
  • Holistic Counseling has drastically changed my understanding of disease and approach to healing. I strongly believe that Holistic Counseling should be taught in all Naturopathic medical schools, as it gives students and doctors the tools necessary to address the mindemotion- body connection at the deepest level. It is now undeniable to me how our false beliefs and emotions affect our physiology. This book is a pivotal resource to all physicians serious about helping their patients truly heal.

    Dr. Caitlin Barbiero, ND
  • Dr. Moshe has poured his heart, experience, knowledge and truth into this book which is so important for the naturopathic community as it so eloquently explains THE root cause. There are a few reasons why I had to read Holistic Counseling – Introducing “The Vis Dialogue” slowly. I was reveling in the truth of each sentence, as there are so many and so
profound! This book engages the reader in a dialogue for self-healing. “Reader heal thyself.” No reader will walk away without having related their experience to the amazing case examples in the book, thereby engaging in self-healing. I’ve had breakthroughs by asking myself the same questions, and by realizing our collective experiences. While
sometimes our intention as healers is to relieve our patients from their suffering, this book asks us to pause, dig deeper and to touch the wound of the person in front of us, in order for true healing to occur. As a healer, the book outlines a simple yet deep philosophical framework for counseling others. While simple in theory, it is ground-breaking and very much needed today. Profound points are made easy to grasp with clear examples and patient cases.

Vanessa Jane Ruiz, RN, BSN, ND 2016
  • A truly outstanding perspective on the Healing Power of Nature. In Holistic-Counseling – Introducing “The Vis Dialogue,” Dr. Moshe took the best of psychology and holistic medicine and created one of the most powerful strategies for healing. The patient will no longer put the Holistic Counseling responsibility of their health in the hands of the physician, as with this therapy the patient will quickly realize that the fate of their health
    resides solely within them.

    Dr. Carlye Luft, NMD
  • If it is possible for a book to be deeply and astoundingly profound, yet simultaneously pragmatic and beneficial in its practicality, Dr. Moshe’s book, Holistic-Counseling – Introducing “The Vis Dialogue” succeeds admirably. Focusing on practicing true “holism” of the mind, emotions, and body, Holistic-Counseling – Introducing “The Vis Dialogue” is a desperately needed resource for Holistic practitioners in our day. Challenging practitioners to return to an authentic, holistic model, Dr. Moshe does not leave us with a merely theoretical book. He masterfully explains what a holistic counseling model truly entails in the first part of the book, then, as if taking us by the hand, he leads us into the second section with detailed instruction and examples of the holistic counseling method. Full of wisdom, compassion, and exemplary instruction, Holistic-Counseling is destined to refocus and reshape our current trends in Holistic Medical Practice.

    Teresa Glick, Traditional Naturopath
  • This book is awesome. In this important compendium for Holistic and Naturopathic medicine, Dr. Block takes his readers on a fascinating journey from ancient philosophy to modern medicine to describe his simple yet powerful counseling technique. This enlightening book, along with the HC course, is an ideal complement for a professional
health practitioner seeking deeper healing for their patients and themselves.

    Dr. Erin Moore, ND
  • In Holistic Counseling – Introducing “The Vis Dialogue,“ Dr. Moshe passes on his masterful technique of drawing the sub-conscious into awareness, bringing out the story beneath the story. Those students who practice it diligently will find themselves equipped to lead others into deep and profound healing. Holistic Counseling should be read and studied by all those in the healing profession.

Micah McLaughlin, Naturopathic Practitioner and Founder of Continuum Healing, Grand Rapids, MI
  • Dr. Moshe Daniel Block is a wonderful teacher and has developed a wonderful tool for assisting patients. I’m so glad that he has put his work in a book to share with other practitioners.

    Dr. Monique Aucoin, ND
  • After taking the Holistic Counseling class and reading this book, I can say with conviction that what Dr. Moshe teaches in this book is extremely powerful and absolutely life-changing! What I learned from Holistic Counseling Dr. Moshe was far more valuable to me than what I learned during my four years in undergrad studying for my B.S. in Psychology. After Holistic Counseling, I was able to tear down the cobwebs and find the hidden issues that I had been dealing with. Once I realized the power that I had given to my false beliefs, I was able to defeat them. Because the root issues are now gone, I have truly been able to know and understand myself more and heal on the deepest level (physician heal thyself). Now, I have the ultimate tool in my “physician’s tool belt” to share with others and help them to their own self-healing! I truly enjoyed reading this and getting a “refresher course”!

  • Holistic Counseling - Introducing “The Vis Dialogue” is an essential manual for any holistic practitioner and can be easily applied into practice. Dr. Moshe Block has created an effective framework for “going down the rabbit hole” into a person’s psyche, guiding the person to arrive at their OWN truth about their suffering which is integral for true healing to take place.

Dr. Olivia Greenspan, Registered Nurse, ND
  • Dr. Moshe takes one through the past paradigms of thought and medicine to bring you to understanding the next shift towards holism in health, living, and consciousness. Combining the study of numerous sources of medicine and through the observations one can make of Nature, he helps one to learn deep secrets of life that often are only attributed to the sages of history. The Vis Dialogue shows how complex we are as humans and how subtle we can create disharmony, but also correct it in our lives and for our health. I believe this book contains the answers many are looking for. More importantly, this book can be the manual for the practitioner or the individual to start asking themselves the right
questions that lead to healing in profound and miraculous ways.

  • This book is a testament to the inner truth we all desire to unlock within Holistic Counseling ourselves. Dr. Moshe has shown me how to embrace my fears, share my hardships, and welcome a brighter future now that I have accepted the great challenge of living on Earth. He will open your mind to the thought patterns that are not self-serving, and bring you to a higher sense of existence. His knowledge has allowed me to grow by leaps and bounds in a short period of time. I cannot thank him enough.

    Dr. Cory Ostroot, ND
